How is Contested defined in a legal contract?
- Contested means a type of divorce where the parties have disagreements about issues such as the grounds for divorce, spousal support, child custody, visitation, child support, property division, or debt allocation. This is contrasted with an 'Uncontested' divorce which is filed on no fault grounds and does not have the aforementioned issues in dispute. Seen in 16 SEC filings
